Parklands Christian College is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to lead the College’s people and compliance functions. This is a part-time role at 0.6 FTE (three days per week or spread across the week), with the potential to grow into a full-time position. Parklands Christian College is a growing school located on 45 acres of land on the southern corridor from Brisbane to Beaudesert at Park Ridge, Logan, QLD. We are a Christian, co-educational school of nearing 1000 students (P-12), along with our Early Learning Centre and Outside School Hours Care facilities, and an established set of values that permeate everything to which we aspire. The core value of Christlikeness encourages the school community to embody the ideals of the Christian gospel in all activities. About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to showcase your generalist human resources skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for the College’s human resources processes as follows:
Handling all tasks from recruitment to offboarding, including providing quality Induction processes
Offering assistance and guidance with probation processes, performance development and people management
Working with the Facilities Manager to offer proactive injury management support, including Workcover claims
Overseeing and improving upon administrative and compliance systems that support workplace and industrial relations tasks within the College
About You
This role requires someone who has a:
Human Resource qualification and/or at least proven skills in similar roles, preferably in a school setting
Working knowledge of injury management and people management practices and systems in a multi-occupational workforce
Sound understanding and application of generalist human resource best practices
Demonstrated strong digital literacy, attention to detail, organisational, data entry and document processing capabilities
Championing of strong ethics, interpersonal and discretionary skills coupled with a commitment to quality service delivery
An ability to develop effective, collaborative relationships with College stakeholders
Active Christian Faith
