Primary Physical Education Teacher and Sport Coordinator

Parklands Christian College is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Primary Sport Coordinator to commence in January 2026. This exciting role combines Physical Education teaching with the coordination of Primary School sport, offering the opportunity to inspire students both in their learning and in their sporting pursuits.

As Primary Sport Coordinator, you will lead engaging sport opportunities and deliver Physical Education lessons that help students grow in their God-given abilities. Our College

Parklands Christian College is a growing school located on 45 acres of land on the southern corridor from Brisbane to Beaudesert at Park Ridge, Logan, Qld. We are a Christian, co-educational school of 822 students (P-12) with an established set of values that permeate everything to which we aspire. About You

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our supportive Primary School team. As Primary Sport Coordinator, you will contribute to our “Culture of Care” while creating an exceptional Physical Education and sport program that reflects our values and high standards.

• Teaching qualification with experience in Primary Physical Education
• QCT Registration (or ability to obtain) and a valid Working with Children Check
• Proof of right to work in Australia
• Commitment to the mission, vision, and Christian ethos of Parklands Christian College
• Genuine care for students and passion for inclusive, student‑centred learning
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to professional growth
• Understanding of health and safety, safeguarding, and risk management in sport
• Qualifications in sport and/or experience delivering successful school sport programs (highly desirable)
• Current First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• An active Christian faith
