Oxford Falls Grammar (OFG) is looking for an extraordinary, forward-thinking Head of Junior School to join our Executive Leadership Team. About the Role

As Head of Junior School, you will bring visionary, relational, and Christ-centred leadership to our Kindergarten through Year 6 community. Working directly alongside the Principal and Executive Team, you will set the culture, shape learning, and inspire a talented, enthusiastic team of educators.

You’ll lead an active Junior School campus that deeply values our 6 Enduring Qualities (EQs)Curiosity, Critical Thinking, Respect, Kindness, Confidence, and Resilience.

Key Focus Areas:

Faith & Ethos Leadership: Champion a vibrant Christian environment where faith is lived out in practice through staff devotions, chapels, and a Christ-centred approach to teaching and care.
Educational Innovation: Drive engaging, high-impact learning, continuous curriculum improvement, and contemporary pedagogical practices across Kindergarten to Stage 3.
Pastoral Care & Character: Foster an inclusive culture grounded in restorative practices and strong wellbeing frameworks where every child is known, cared for, and empowered.
Staff Mentorship & Growth: Lead, coach, and inspire Junior School staff within a collaborative Professional Learning Community.
Vibrant Community Engagement: Build warm, genuine relationships with parents, families, and the wider Northern Beaches community.

The role would ideally commence in Term 4 2026, however we would be willing to negotiate a Term 1 2027 start for the right applicant.

About You

We are seeking a warm, high-impact leader who brings:

Active Christian Faith: A deep, vibrant faith reflected in your life, local church engagement, and a heart for Christian education.
Proven Educational Leadership: Track record of driving learning growth, staff development, and pedagogical success in a Primary/Junior School setting.
Qualifications & NESA Accreditation: Tertiary qualifications in Education (Postgraduate leadership studies highly desirable) and current NESA teaching accreditation.
Relational Warmth & Vision: Strong emotional intelligence, outstanding communication skills, and the capacity to inspire confidence across students, staff, and parents.
