Orange Christian School is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Secondary to provide spiritual, educational, and operational leadership across our Secondary School (Years 7–12). This senior executive role is an exciting opportunity for a strong Christian leader to shape a Christ-centred learning culture where students are discipled, equipped, and empowered to flourish.

Orange Christian School is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational Christian school with over 535 students, located in the beautiful Central West of NSW. For more than 40 years, OCS has partnered with families to nurture students academically, spiritually, and personally. About the Role
As part of the Senior Executive Leadership Team, the Head of Secondary will:
- Lead the daily operations, staff, and students of the Secondary School.
- Oversee curriculum development, teaching, learning, and assessment across Years 7–12.
- Provide pastoral and spiritual leadership, promoting a positive and Christ-centred school culture.
- Mentor and develop staff, fostering excellence and unity.
- Collaborate with the Principal, Deputy Principal, and executive team to deliver the school’s strategic vision.
- Strengthen parent and community partnerships.
- Maintain compliance with NESA, child safety standards, and key school policies.
This role includes up to a 0.5 teaching load.
About You
We are seeking a leader who is:
- A committed Christian, active in their local church and aligned with the school’s Statement of Faith.
- An experienced educational leader with prior senior leadership or executive experience.
- A qualified teacher with current NESA accreditation and a valid Working With Children Check.
- Skilled in curriculum leadership, staff management, and policy compliance (ROSA, HSC, NESA).
- Pastoral at heart, with a proven ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
- An excellent communicator with strong organisational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Calm, wise, and resilient in complex situations.
