Secondary Languages Teacher – 2027

Part-time (2-3 days/week) Secondary position teaching a Stage 4 Language (all Languages considered), commencing Term 1, 2027.

• This part-time position will initially focus on teaching a Stage 4 Language, with the specific language open to negotiation based on the successful applicant’s specialisation and experience.
  This role will be tailored around your area of expertise, so if you have a genuine passion for a particular language and culture, we want to hear from you.

Selection Criteria

• A strong Christian faith and an active member of a local Protestant church
• An understanding and/or experience of teaching from a Christian worldview
• Holds a genuine passion for your chosen language specialisation and enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with students
• Is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality language instruction to students, with the ability to teach Stage 6 highly regarded
• An ability to provide high quality explicit teaching and learning programs that leverage ICT
• An understanding of best-practice approaches in student assessment
• Excellent classroom management

Mandatory Requirements

• Current Protestant church minister’s referee details
• Completion of the school’s online application form
• Current NSW Working With Children Check approval number
• NSW Teacher Accreditation number
