Secondary Japanese Teacher – P/T

Nowra Christian School (NSW) is expanding and as a result we are currently inviting applications from committed Christians of Protestant persuasion who are active in their local church, to join our team in July 2025, in the following position:

Secondary Teacher (Japanese) 

Part-time Secondary Japanese Teacher commencing Term 3, 2025, initially 3 days per fortnight.

• An opportunity to share your love for Jesus and have a positive impact on the lives of young students in a Christian context
• This role is for 3 days per fortnight and may be extended in 2026 to more days depending on your ability and willingness to teach across KLAs – particularly in Business Studies/Commerce.

Selection Criteria

• A strong Christian faith and an active member of a local Protestant church
• An understanding and/or experience of teaching from a Christian worldview
• Experience and appropriate qualifications in teaching Stage 4 Japanese
• A willingness to teach across KLAs would be highly regardedAn ability to provide high quality explicit teaching and learning programs that leverage ICT
• An understanding of best-practice approaches in student assessment
• Excellent classroom management
• Well-developed interpersonal skills

Mandatory Requirements

• Reference from current Protestant church minister
• Completion of the school’s online application form
• Current NSW Working With Children Check approval number
• NSW Teacher Accreditation number
