Nowra Christian School are currently inviting applications from committed Christians of Protestant persuasion who are active in their local church, to join our Secondary team in 2027, as a: Secondary English Teacher Full-time Secondary English teaching position commencing Term 1, 2027.

Selection Criteria
- A strong Christian faith and an active member of a local Protestant church
- An understanding and/or experience of teaching from a Christian worldview
- Experience and appropriate qualifications in teaching Stages 4 – 6 English
- An ability to provide high quality explicit teaching and learning programs that leverage ICT
- An understanding of best-practice approaches in student assessment
- Excellent classroom management
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Protestant church minister’s referee details
- Completion of the school’s online application form
- Current NSW Working With Children Check approval number
- NSW Teacher Accreditation number
