PDHPE Teacher

Full Time (Part-Time option available), Commencing Term 1, 2025 (or sooner if available) Our College is seeking a dedicated and experienced PDHPE Teacher to join our team. • Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons that integrate Christian values into health education and
• physical fitness
• Encourage students to participate actively in physical activities and sports.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students’ overall development.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on students’ progress and achievements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies that enhance students’ learning experiences.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic and personal development.

About You : The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:

• the ability to teach Stage 6 PDHPE (Health and Movement Science) and Community and Family Studies
• (advantageous);
• be committed to developing individual sporting excellence and opportunities for students;
• be a highly committed professional and have a desire make a difference in the lives of students;
• be an excellent classroom practitioner and communicator;
• possess strong interpersonal skills, valuing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
• be committed to their own professional learning and growth;
• be pastorally minded and comfortable with sharing their faith;
• have an understanding of the wellbeing needs of adolescents;
