- Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons that integrate Christian values into health education and
- physical fitness
- Encourage students to participate actively in physical activities and sports.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students’ overall development.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on students’ progress and achievements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies that enhance students’ learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic and personal development.
About You : The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:
- the ability to teach Stage 6 PDHPE (Health and Movement Science) and Community and Family Studies
- (advantageous);
- be committed to developing individual sporting excellence and opportunities for students;
- be a highly committed professional and have a desire make a difference in the lives of students;
- be an excellent classroom practitioner and communicator;
- possess strong interpersonal skills, valuing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
- be committed to their own professional learning and growth;
- be pastorally minded and comfortable with sharing their faith;
- have an understanding of the wellbeing needs of adolescents;
