Northside Christian College is currently seeking a capable and customer-focused ICT Help Desk Officer to join our ICT team.

About the Position
·          Support the day-to-day ICT operations of the College.

·          Perform the College Help Desk function, ensuring requests from staff and students are responded to promptly and effectively.

·          Act as the first point of contact for the ICT Department, triaging requests and escalating matters to the IT Manager as required.

·          Provide phone and face-to-face support for hardware, software and other ICT-related issues.

·          Assist with the installation, maintenance and upgrading of ICT systems and equipment.

·          Work collaboratively with the ICT team to provide excellent customer service and technical support to the College community.

·          Other duties deemed appropriate by the IT Manager and/or Principal to support the efficient functioning of the College.

Position Description

 

What We’re Looking For
·          Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, installing and maintaining ICT systems.

·          Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows and experience supporting a range of devices, including PCs, tablets and printers.

·          Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.

·          Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing requests in a busy environment.

·          A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

·          The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with staff and students.

·          A flexible approach and the capacity to adapt to change.

·          A genuine interest in technology and a desire to keep abreast of current developments in the ICT field.

·          A committed Christian with a heart for service and a strong commitment to the ethos of Christian education.

·          Holds or is willing to obtain a current Working with Children Check.
