Due to the growth of the College, we are seeking to appoint innovative, energetic and collaborative professionals to teach within the cohesive and supportive Science Faculty. Suitably qualified professionals who have current Stage 6 Physics, Chemistry or Biology experience or enthusiastic University graduates are invited to apply. The ideal applicant will have a dynamic proactive approach to teaching, immersion into College life, enthusiasm for teaching young people, with professional values and experience to the HSC level.

Applicants must be committed Christians with an active involvement in a local church.

More specifically, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Demonstrate experience in teaching Physics, Chemistry or Biology to the HSC level
• Drive academic programs and results in Science leading up to the HSC
• Work collaboratively within a team to contribute in the further development of the Faculty
• Contribute to an innovative educational direction that exists within the College
• Drive academic improvement in the area of literacy and numeracy from Year 7-12
• Differentiate in the classroom to promote growth for each individual student
• Implement digital literacy with regard to application of pedagogy
• Exhibit well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage with students, parents and staff
• Support and enable staff members and students to achieve their best potential
• Demonstrate exemplary organisational and communication skills
• Present appropriate tertiary qualifications, including teaching qualifications
• Assent to the College’s Statement of Faith

Application Process

NESA accreditation and a current WWCC approval number is required.
