MidCoast Christian College is a growing, Christ-centred school of approximately 850 students and is situated in the Greater Taree region on the beautiful mid-north coast of NSW. Vacancies have arisen for casual Secondary Teachers. Understanding the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and EAL/D learners is advantageous.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant must:
1. be a practising Christian, active in a church and subscribe to the Statement of Faith;
2. demonstrate an understanding of and an ability to teach from a Christian perspective;
3. have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
4. demonstrate an ability to cater for the full range of learners, have high expectations of students and integrate ICT into teaching;
5. be able to understand and use data to inform planning;
6. be willing to contribute to the College’s co-curricular program.

The successful applicant must satisfy NSW Working with Children and NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) teacher employability requirements and be eligible to work in Australia.
Teachers are paid under the Christian Schools Australia Multi-Enterprise Agreement and the current salary range, depending on Step.
