Aboriginal Education Support / Chaplain

Marrara Christian College (NT) is looking for a part-time Aboriginal Education Support Assistant/Chaplain with the ability to embed their Christian faith into all aspects of their work . This position will commence immediately or as negotiated.

Applicants must identify as Aboriginal . The ideal candidate will be a key member of the welfare team. They will support the education of all aboriginal students across the college through a range of methods including: a listening ear, support in the classroom, communicating with families and communities. Liaising with other members of the welfare team and engaging with external support agencies. The successful applicant will be committed to seeing Christian education make a real difference in the lives of their students. Cultural awareness and confidentiality are essential to this role.
