About the role

Mandurah Baptist College is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated educational leader to take on the role of Head of Technology & Enterprise from 2026.

The Technology & Enterprise Department at Mandurah Baptist College is comprised of a dedicated team teaching in a range of disciplines including Food Technology, Design, Materials, Engineering and Digital Technologies. With outstanding teaching and learning facilities, including our fabulous STEAM Centre, the College’s Technology & Enterprise Department is well resourced and active in the College community.

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of the WA Curriculum, and be able to teach all years from 7 to 12. Due to the nature of the learning area, candidates with backgrounds in any of the Technology & Enterprise disciplines will be considered.

 Profile:

Applicants for the position of Head of Technology & Enterprise at Mandurah Baptist College should address the selection criteria in the position description found on the College website.

Applicants for this position will have:

A living Christian faith
Relevant curriculum &/or pastoral leadership experience
A sound understanding of contemporary pedagogy and paradigms
A sound understanding of the wider educational sector, including the relevant aspects of educational psychology, regulatory requirements, theoretical underpinnings and application in practice
Strong team building and organisational capacity
A willingness to go the extra mile to achieve excellence
Evident leadership capacity; strong referee commendations
Excellent communication skills
Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
Current Working with Children Check
