About the role
Mandurah Baptist College invites applications from outstanding Christian educators for the position of Head of Primary from the commencement of the 2026 school year (or earlier by negotiation).
The Head of Primary is a pivotal leadership role in the College’s executive structure, reporting to the Principal and being responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the College’s Primary School.
The Head of Primary will have an outstanding knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy and pastoral care, and have a proven track record of working with teams to create high-performing cultures that promote student learning.
The Primary School at Mandurah Baptist College currently caters for 700 students from Pre Kindergarten through to Year 6, with a purpose-built Early Learning Centre feeding into established Upper Primary facilities. Shared facilities with the Secondary School include an outstanding Theatre, Sports Centre, ovals, courts and play areas.

Profile:
Applicants for the position of Head of Primary at Mandurah Baptist College should address the selection criteria in the position description found on the College website:
A living Christian faith
Curriculum &/or pastoral and teaching experience
A sound understanding of contemporary pedagogy and wellbeing paradigms
A sound understanding of the wider educational sector, including the relevant aspects of educational psychology, regulatory requirements, theoretical underpinnings and application in practice, strategic planning and school improvement paradigms.
Strong team building and organisational capacity
A willingness to go the extra mile to achieve excellence
Evident leadership capacity; strong referee commendations
Excellent communication skills
Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
Current Working with Children Check
