We are seeking a passionate Librarian who enjoys working in a collegial a dynamic environment that is central to our School’s learning community. This role is primarily responsible for performing an integral role within the School to support the delivery of high impact library services that supports students and teachers within a continuously improving program.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- a person who thrives in an environment where regular contributions are made by each member within this multi skilled and collaborative team.
- a person who enjoys using your quality interpersonal skills when working with students, teachers and library colleagues.
- your presentation skills enable you to communicate the services and expertise that the library offers to these groups.
- a Library services professional with accompanying qualifications commensurate with the standard and expectations of a Librarian.
- ability to find, evaluate, and create content using information technologies and the internet; digital collections and services and troubleshooting technology issues and maintaining and locating digital resources.
- your combination of qualification and experience supports your passion for education, reading, and for information literacy in a contemporary learning environment.
- a person who enjoys contributing within a team environment to further develop and inspire reading and research for the students and staff, as well strategies to engage the parents within our school community.

- A Teaching Degree (preferred).
- Additional qualifications or experience in special educational needs are advantageous.
- Relevant professional registrations (e.g., VIT, Library Certification).
- Valid Working with Children’s Check if not VIT registered.
