About the role Lighthouse Christian College – Keysborough is seeking a full-time Classroom Teacher (Primary) to join our dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a parental leave period commencing in Term 3, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and development of primary school students in a supportive Christ Centered and values-driven environment. What we’re looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent teaching qualification with current VIT Registration (mandatory)
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a primary school classroom teacher
• Strong pedagogical skills and a deep understanding of the primary curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• A demonstrated commitment to professional development and a passion for continuous learning
• Alignment with the school’s Christian ethos and a willingness to contribute to the broader community of the college
