We are seeking an experienced Daily Organiser/Time Tabler for commencement in Term 1, 2026, to join our team at Lighthouse Christian College in Keysborough, Victoria. This is a full-time 1.0 FTE position that will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our school’s daily operations.

The Daily Organizer and Time Tabler is ultimately responsible to the Deputy Principals (Primary & Secondary) for all aspects of the overall administration associated with the Primary and Secondary School timetable and staff allocations. The role supports teaching staff and helps ensure that College classroom assets are adequately and appropriately utilized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain the school timetable (classes, specialists, part-time, room allocations etc.)
  • Coordinate daily staff deployment: manage teacher absences, CRTs, yard duty roster, room changes, special events
  • Liaise across leadership, HR, teaching and support staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for example, collaborate with Deputy Principals and HR to maintain balanced workloads, confirm staff attendance, and ensure accurate records for payroll and compliance
  • Use and maintain timetabling/staffing systems and databases, ensuring data integrity
  • Adapt the timetable and staffing plans in response to changes (e.g., excursions, professional learning days, new enrolments)
  • Provide administrative support to leadership as required, including reports and analysis of staffing/timetable data Contribute to policy and process improvement (how we timetable, allocate staff, cover classes)

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role (school or education context preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency with timetabling software, school management systems, spreadsheets/databases
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt and meet deadlines in a fast-paced school environment
  • Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the College
