Leighland Christian School is a thriving, community-centred non-denominational, independent Christian School of over 660 students, with a K-12 Campus at Ulverstone and a K-6 Campus at Burnie.

Expressions of interest are sought for the following position:

Social Worker

Part-Time, 2 to 3 days per week

School terms only

Are you passionate about working in partnership with students, their families, teachers and school? Supporting and empowering students to be seen, heard and experience a sense of belonging? Are you compassionate, professional and solution oriented?

This position provides an opportunity to make a real difference to our community, providing support to our students using evidence-based interventions.

Tertiary qualifications in social work, a Working with Vulnerable People card and a written reference from a pastor or minister are essential.

Previous experience working in a school setting will be highly regarded.
