Lake Joondalup Baptist College (LJBC) is a welcoming and diverse community where students and families connect to grow and enjoy a strong sense of belonging. Located in the heart of Joondalup, the vibrant, modern campus has been home to students from Pre Kindy to Year 12 for over 30 years. LJBC has become a thriving school community with 240 staff working together to provide PK-12 coeducational education to over 1400 students.

The Head of Primary / Associate Principal is responsible to the College Principal for the leadership, management, and performance of all aspects of the Primary School. The role has delegated authority, decision-making, and accountability in all matters pertaining to the Primary School. The Head of Primary must work collegially and collaboratively within the College Leadership Team, demonstrating strategic vision, strong organisational skills, and effective leadership processes.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Head of Primary / Associate Principal.  The successful applicant will be a collaborative team player with high levels of organisational and staff management skills. They will report to the Principal and will have:

  • Suitable qualifications;
  • Strong educational leadership skills;
  • Strategic thinking;
  • Commitment to Christian Education; and
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
