Suitably qualified and experienced applicants are encouraged to apply for this permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025.

The successful applicant will meet the position selection criteria, some of which include:

  • Supportive of the aims, principles and tenets of Kingsway Christian Education Association Inc. at Kingsway Christian College.
  • Hold academic teaching qualifications that meet the Department of Education requirements and experience as a secondary school teacher (HASS), delivering the Western Australian Curriculum.
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal growth, education and welfare of students.
  • Able to demonstrate inter-personal and problem-solving skills, and effective communication and conflict resolution skills in dealing with students, parents and staff.
  • Be an innovative, resourceful and enthusiastic teacher and leader.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet students’ needs and course objectives.
  • Proficient and experienced in ICT and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Have a range of professional strengths, abilities and interests, able to enhance the learning program.
  • Ability to teach English an advantage.

Successful applicants must satisfy child protection screening and adhere to the College’s child protection policies and Staff Code of Conduct.  The successful applicant must hold a WWCC Card (or be able to apply) and National Police Clearance (no more than 3 months old).
