The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Food Technologies Teacher to join our Middle School team at the Wynn Vale campus.
This is a 0.4 FTE contract position (2 days per week), commencing 20 July 2026.
The role contributes to the delivery of engaging, curriculum-aligned learning supporting students to develop practical food skills, an understanding of nutrition and food systems, and the ability to think critically and creatively.
Essential Criteria
A personal commitment to King’s Vision, Mission and Values that underpin the delivery of a Christian-based education to students in the School Community is essential to this role.
The role also requires:
- An in-depth understanding of the Australian Curriculum standards specific to Technologies, food specialisations and production.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum
- Create engaging, student-centred learning experiences
- Foster safe and supportive classroom environments, including safe food handling practices
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families
- Be committed to ongoing professional growth
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Education (or higher), be eligible for teacher registration in South Australia, and have current RRHAN and Working With Children Check clearances.
