About King’s

King’s is a place where every student is seen, heard, known, and feels a profound sense of love. We foster a culture of connection and belonging, where staff, students, and families engage in reciprocal relationships that reflect the perfect relationship of our triune God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

As the only Baptist School in South Australia offering a complete ELC-Year 12 experience within a Jesus-centred community, we are dedicated to inspiring hope and creating opportunities for individuals and families to do life better, together.

Guided by our leadership values, we cultivate behaviour, culture, and mindsets that form the foundation of the ‘King’s Way.’

Middle School

Housed in a purpose-built facility, the Middle School has a key focus on learning and development with a pastoral focus where every student is seen and valued.  Students go on a journey of identity, empathy, awareness and respect that prepares them as independent thinkers who know who they are.

Position Purpose

Pastoral Teachers are the main point of contact for students.  They are responsible for nurturing the children in their care and establishing relationships with them while inspiring them to learn within the core subject areas of English, Mathematics, HASS and Faith Studies.

The role of Pastoral Teacher will suit applicants who are future thinking and experienced in aligning pedagogy with innovative spaces.  The ability to teach across multiple subject areas would be highly advantageous.

  • Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues in a timely and effective manner.
