King’s Baptist Grammar School is seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher to join our Junior School team at the Adelaide Hills campus in 2026.

Positioned in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, our Mount Barker Campus offers a unique and inspiring setting for both teaching and learning. Now heading into its third year, the campus has grown steadily since its opening and continues to flourish as part of our vibrant school community. In 2026, we are excited to expand our offerings to include Year 5, reflecting our commitment to providing a comprehensive and nurturing educational journey for students in the region.

About the Role

Junior School Teachers are required to:

  • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Inspire students to grow in their learning and Christian faith.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan, assess, and reflect on teaching practices.
  • Use digital tools and relevant LMS platforms to enhance learning and communication.

Essential Criteria

A personal commitment to King’s Vision, Mission and Values that underpin the delivery of a Christian-based education to students in the School community is essential to this role.  Teachers at King’s must also meet the following requirements:

  • A qualified Teacher with a Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education or higher.
  • Registration (or eligibility) with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
  • Current RRHAN-EC and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • A passion for primary aged education and a heart for nurturing young learners.
  • Experience supporting students with significant and additional learning needs, using inclusive and differentiated strategies to help every child thrive.
