Opportunity
We are seeking applications from Certificate and Diploma qualified Educators, committed to providing an exceptional educational experience that fosters a love of learning in children aged 3 to 5 years old.
There are part-time and full-time positions to fill immediately.
Hours of work are negotiable however Educators need to be willing to work 6:30am – 2:30pm and/or 10am – 6pm shifts across various days.
We will be shortlisting and interviewing as suitable candidates apply.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Early Childhood Educator at King’s ELC, you will play a pivotal role in creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with fellow educators to design and implement a child-centred curriculum that aligns with our faith-based values.
- Nurturing and establishing positive relationships with children in your care, inspiring them to learn and grow both academically and spiritually.
- Supporting students to become independent learners by providing tailored learning experiences that cater to their needs and interests.
- Embracing the Reggio Emilia approach to education to encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking in our young learners.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our learning environment by sharing innovative ideas and strategies.
Requirements:
- A personal commitment to King’s Vision, Mission and Values that underpin the delivery of a Christian-based education to students in the School Community.
- Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or approved ACECQA qualification).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
