About the Role
Food and Materials Technician (part-time, ongoing)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Food Technologies and Materials Technician to support our commitment to providing a safe, high‑quality and engaging learning environment for our students. Your practical skills and team‑focused approach will contribute to the smooth, efficient operation of the dynamic and well-subscribed learning area.

This is a hands-on role you will be integral in the effective running of practical education programs – primarily in the Food Science and Technology, secondary in Fabrics and Children, Family and Community. You thrive in a busy environment where you will be involved in preparation, organisation and procurement, problem‑solving, and actively supporting teachers to deliver the best possible outcomes for students.

Previous experience working in a kitchen, food preparation or similar within the education settings will contribute to your success. As a representative of the College, you will model our mission and values with authenticity and professionalism in every interaction across our community.

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) ongoing role. The successful candidate will commence in Term 1, 2027.
