Kennedy Baptist College is a leading co-educational Christian school for students in Years 7 to 12, located in Perth’s southern suburb of Murdoch. Kennedy Baptist College was formed in 2013 after the amalgamation of two neighbouring Colleges.

It is now home to approximately 1,200 students, and together we enter the next exciting chapter. About the Role

Head of Learning Area – Technologies (full-time, ongoing)

As Head of Learning Area, you lean on your experience to ensure the standard of academic excellence by inspiring and leading your experienced team across curriculum development, delivery and evaluation. In this role, you will champion the curriculum agenda, leveraging the passion and expertise of individual members and altogether challenging the collective to deliver positive learning outcomes for a broad range of students.

You thrive in an environment where you use your teaching expertise, experience in leading a large and diverse department and ability to work collaboratively across different college teams and curriculum leaders to see year on year improvement. This is a leadership role in the College. It is expected that you lead by example the College values in all your interactions, balancing the relational and the delivery of strategic objectives are essential.

Reporting directly to the Deputy Principal – Curriculum and Director of Studies. Your learning and development include active engagement in the Kennedy Leadership Excellence Programme.

This is an ongoing full-time role.
