Whitsunday Christian College is an Independent, Non-denominational Christian school located in Cannonvale, Queensland. We are currently seeking a Head of Diverse Learning to oversee our Inclusive Education department and team of Teacher Aides. This is a full time PAR Contract position with approximately 0.20 teaching load commencing early Term 2, 2025. Specific Tasks will include:
- Supervision and Managements of Inclusive Education Teacher Aides
- Case Management of Students with additional needs
- Oversee NCCD Processes
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve student outcomes
- Build staff capacity to develop quality differentiated curriculum
The successful applicant will:
- Be a person of Christian faith and integrity
- Commit to the College Ethos, Mission, Vision, Policies and Procedures of Whitsunday Christian College as they relate to the scope of the position
- Be highly motivated and organised in planning and administration
- Enjoy working with children and young people
- Deal patiently with students of differing abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have a current Christian church leader as a referee
- Registered or able to be registered in Queensland with QCT.
