Year 5 Classroom Teacher (Replacement Contract)

Are you passionate about teaching and nurturing young minds in a faith-centred environment? We are looking for a dedicated Year 5 Classroom Teacher to join our team for a 6 month replacement contract commencing Term 3, 2026 (July 20).

What You Will Do:

• Lead Year 5 students through a dynamic and engaging curriculum
• Incorporate Christian teachings and values into lessons and daily classroom interactions
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture
• Encourage personal growth, resilience, and a love for learning in every student
• Collaborate with a team of passionate educators and supportive staff
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified and enthusiastic teacher with a genuine love for working with children
• Experience in teaching upper Primary (preferred, but not required)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a caring and nurturing environment
• A proactive approach to lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management
• A commitment to the ethos of Christian education
