About Us

Hinterland Christian College is a creative, compassionate K-10 Christian School in the Byron Shire, New South Wales, Australia.  We provide quality education with an individualised approach for all students K-10.  We are proud of the environment we have developed for each child to grow into their God-given potential and enjoy celebrating their progress.

Our teachers are passionate educators who delight in being invested in each of the students in their classes. Their love and care for the students is evident in their manner, communication and relationship with each student.  Our college is situated at the base of Mount Chincogan with stunning grounds, including a dry billabong environmental learning space. The physical space provides the canvas for a peaceful, safe and beautiful learning environment in and out of the classrooms.

Our Mission

At Hinterland, we support our community by educating and encouraging students to grow Biblical wisdom and intelligent hearts. We are instilling good insight through knowledge and practice, so that all may have the freedom to flourish.
