HillSide Christian College is an evangelical, Christian school located in Forrestfield, with an approximate enrolment of 460 students from 4-year-old Kindy to Year 12.

ABOUT THE ROLE
HillSide Christian College is seeking Primary Teachers for positions commencing Term One, 2026.
There is potential for initial one or two-year fixed term contracts with the possibility of conversion to ongoing status. Applicants seeking either Full-Time or Part-Time employment are encouraged to apply. At present, the roles for 2026 include full-time 1.0FTE teacher and one part-time 0.4FTE teacher. There may also be the possibility of an additional role, so applicants are encouraged to apply on this basis.
Salary is based on the College’s Teacher Pay Scale and negotiable on qualifications and experience.
KEY EXPECTATIONS
Successful applicants will be practising evangelical Christians, who are able to demonstrate and work within the College’s Christian framework. All teachers will need to accept the College’s Code of Conduct (including Statement of Faith) and meet all compliance requirements. All teachers will be expected to be able to teach from a Christian worldview.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants should be able to demonstrate their personal faith in Jesus Christ as God and Saviour and be an active member of an evangelical Christian Church. The applicant should be a dynamic teacher with high-level skills, proven experience and the desire to work within a Christian team setting.
All applicants must include:
1. Cover letter outlining their suitability for the role within the context of HillSide Christian College, in the primary school setting (maximum two pages):
- Indicate year levels that they can successfully teach;
- Their experience, educational philosophy and how they would contribute positively to a teaching role in the context of HillSide Christian College;
- Include their preference (if any) for part-time or full-time roles.
2. Current CV outlining qualifications, church membership, professional referees, contact details, and career history.
3. A written reference from a Pastor/Elder or the contact details of a Pastor/Elder who may be contacted for a verbal reference in regard to the applicant’s Christian faith, character and practice.
4. A copy of compliance documents named in the dot points below:
- a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- a current TRBWA Registration
