Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) World School.
Hillcrest Christian College invites applications for a vacant Laboratory Technician role, working in support of Science teachers and students. Duties of the Laboratory Technician include preparing experiments, setting up before classes, cleaning and storing chemicals, materials and equipment afterwards, and ensuring that all equipment is in a good state of repair.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in laboratory duties, preferably in an educational environment Competence and enthusiasm to perform the duties of the role Willingness to work as part of a team and assist teachers and students Availability to work the specified hours during school terms Current knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirements Relevant qualifications e.g., Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or Diploma of Laboratory Technology.
