Crest Education comprises two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,000 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) World School and is a Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidate school, with modern facilities at Clyde North. It is a growing College, adding a new year level each year; our first Year 9 level will commence in 2022.
Hillcrest Christian College invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced teachers for the role of Early Learning Centre Teacher, commencing in 2022. The ELC is a modern facility providing high quality early learning experiences for children aged 3 to 5 years.
The program for 4-year-olds is held on Monday to Wednesday during school terms from 9:00am to 3:15pm. The educators work from 8:25am to 4:30pm. Additionally, there is 2 hours of collaborative planning.
This role is a job-share – two teachers, each teaching 1.5 days of the 3-day program and planning together on a separate day. The existing teacher is an experienced early childhood educator who will be onsite Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will:
· be degree-qualified
· be a VIT registered teacher
· be skilled at working with 4-year-old children
· enjoy working in schools where Christian values and academic excellence are emphasised
· have previous early years teaching experience and a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) for Australia
