Crest Education comprises two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,000 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College, which opened in 2014, has Early Learning and students to Year 8 in 2021. It is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) World School and is a Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidate school.

Hillcrest Christian College invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced chaplains for the role of Chaplaincy Services Coordinator. This role spans the coordination of the Chaplaincy team across Primary (ELC to Year 6) and Secondary (Years 7-12) sections and liaison with the Rivercrest Chaplaincy team.

The successful candidate is available to work Monday to Friday for 38 school term weeks, 2 professional learning (pupil-free) weeks and 2 weeks of the school holidays. A standard working day is 8:25am to 4:30pm at Hillcrest.

The successful candidate will have:

a strong Christian faith and the ability to inspire the community to live our College values with staff and students
the ability to relate to a range of students, particularly in the secondary year levels, coordinate chapel services and events, work with the Student Wellbeing staff in providing support to students, coordinate resiliency and mentoring programs and have the desire to nurture student development in an environment where both Christian values and academic excellence are emphasised
a demonstrated track record of successful Christian leadership, service within a school context and appropriate Christian teaching experience
relevant qualifications in chaplaincy, youth work, pastoral care or theology (refer to the position description for details)
the ability to work as a team player who enjoys collaborating with other Chaplaincy team members, teachers and support staff
