About HCS
Heritage Christian School (HCS) is a K-12 Christian school situated on a picturesque campus in Port Macquarie on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW. HCS exists to partner with families, and equip staff to develop highly capable students, of Christian character, ready to serve and enrich the community for the glory of God.

About the role
We’re praying for the right staff to come and join our SLSO team and we’re thankful that you would consider our school as a place where you will have meaningful relationships and do meaningful work.
We are seeking a capable and relational teacher aide who desires to encourage and inspire our student community.
This part-time position is expected to start in January 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Living out your faith in a Christian school community
- Contribute to the holistic care and welfare of students
- Able to build good rapport with staff and students
- Ability to empathise with students and their needs
- Contribute to an exciting and vibrant learning environment
- High standards of professionalism
Qualifications and Skills:
- A genuine person with a passion for working with children.
- A valid Working with Children Check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality to ensure timely services.
- A team player who can work well with other staff.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and be flexible.
