Due to the exciting growth across several streams at our Melton campus, we have several new teaching opportunities.
Positions:
We are seeking to fill several positions across the following Teaching Methods at our Melton Campus in 2026:
Primary
- Primary Classroom Teacher
– This position provides the opportunity to assume significant responsibilities, including Positions of Responsibility (PoRs) in the following areas: - Primary Literacy Coordinator (across campus)
- Primary Numeracy Coordinator (across campus)
- Primary Learning Team Leaders
Secondary
- Secondary Maths & Science Teacher
– This position provides the opportunity to assume significant responsibilities, including Positions of Responsibility (PoRs) in the following areas: - Secondary Learning Team Leaders (subject area leaders)
The Person:
Education and Experience:
- The successful candidates will be skilled educators within the teaching profession and will hold a Bachelor of Education, VIT Registration (or provisional if a graduate).
- Ability to lead, inspire, support, and encourage students through teaching from a Christian worldview.
- Capacity to select and use appropriately a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies to suit the needs of a diverse range of students.
- Additional teaching methods would be desirable and highly regarded.

- Actively contributes to Heathdale Christian College’s team culture through displaying humility, a desire for excellence, a strong sense of self-awareness, and collaboration.
- Demonstrate a high level of communication, professional, and interpersonal skills when relating to teachers, students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in the understanding of the College’s Christian philosophy of education and its practical outworking through the professional development of staff.
