About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, relational, and strategic Head of Secondary to lead our secondary staff and students into the next season of growth. This is a key leadership role which currently includes a 0.6 FTE teaching load.

You will work closely with the Executive Team to shape the vision and direction of secondary education at GCC, foster a culture of excellence and care, and support staff and students to grow in both faith and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support secondary staff in improving outcomes for students.
• Build a strong and positive culture grounded in Christian faith, wellbeing, and high academic standards.
• Support operations, curriculum development and quality teaching practices.
• Work collaboratively with families and the broader school community.
• Maintain a visible presence in the classroom through a part-time teaching load.

About You

To be considered, you must:

• Be a committed, practising Christian, actively involved in a local church.
• Support the mission and values of Greenacre Christian College.
• Be an experienced educational leader with a passion for developing both students and staff.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Hold relevant teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.
