Grace Christian College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our team from the beginning of the 2026 school year. This full-time position includes teaching History and Christian Studies for Years 7–10, with skills in Information Technology considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach across the Australian Curriculum in Humanities (Years 7–10), including History and Christian Studies.
- Manage and deliver sessions within a Mastery Learning classroom two mornings per week.
- Collaborate with staff to create engaging and relevant learning experiences for students.
The successful applicant will:
- Be a committed Christian, able to integrate their personal faith in Jesus Christ into their teaching practice.
- Demonstrate a strong Biblical understanding of learning and education.
- Create a supportive and faith-affirming classroom environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, personally, and spiritually.
- Be familiar with or willing to adopt Mastery Learning principles.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
- Use ICT effectively to enhance learning (skills in IT are a strong advantage).
