Grace Christian College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our team from the beginning of the 2026 school year. This full-time position includes teaching History and Christian Studies for Years 7–10, with skills in Information Technology considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach across the Australian Curriculum in Humanities (Years 7–10), including History and Christian Studies.
  • Manage and deliver sessions within a Mastery Learning classroom two mornings per week.
  • Collaborate with staff to create engaging and relevant learning experiences for students.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a committed Christian, able to integrate their personal faith in Jesus Christ into their teaching practice.
  • Demonstrate a strong Biblical understanding of learning and education.
  • Create a supportive and faith-affirming classroom environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, personally, and spiritually.
  • Be familiar with or willing to adopt Mastery Learning principles.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
  • Use ICT effectively to enhance learning (skills in IT are a strong advantage).
