Learning Support Coordinator (Years F–12)

Grace Christian College is seeking a qualified and passionate Learning Support Coordinator to join our teaching team from the beginning of the 2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students for learning potential and challenges and identify learning needs
• Work with general classroom staff to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Assign students to learning groups as needed to meet student learning needs.
• Assign, oversee and support aides implementing learning supports to individual students and groups of students.
• Teach curriculum to small groups of students where adjustment to learning ability is necessary.
• Maintain the schools NCCD register and work with staff to identify student placement in the NCCD framework.

The ideal applicant will:

• Be a committed Christian with a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ.
• Confidently integrate a Biblical worldview into their teaching practice.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of the NCCD program and learning support design in schools.
• Have excellent skills in assessing and identifying learning challenges in students and applying appropriate strategies to maximise student learning and improve learning outcomes.
• Be willing to support students in both their academic and spiritual growth.
