Junior Primary Teacher

Grace Christian College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Primary Teacher to join our team from the beginning of the 2026 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach across the Australian Curriculum for the years Foundation and Year 1.
* Manage and deliver lessons with a strong emphasis on Mastery Learning and phonics.
* Collaborate with staff to create engaging and relevant learning experiences for students.

The successful applicant will:

* Be a committed Christian, able to integrate their personal faith in Jesus Christ into their teaching practice.
* Demonstrate a strong Biblical understanding of learning and education.
* Create a supportive and faith-affirming classroom environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, personally, and spiritually.
* Be familiar with or willing to adopt Mastery Learning principles.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of early-years literacy and effective skills in teaching it.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
* Proof of VIT registration
