About the Role

Glasshouse Christian College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary PE Teacher to join our Primary team.

This full-time, continuing position is an opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education programs across the Primary years.

The successful applicant will encourage students to enjoy physical activity, develop their skills and confidence, and demonstrate teamwork and sportsmanship. They will also contribute to the College’s Primary sporting program, including carnivals and other sporting activities.

About You
The successful applicant will:

• Be a committed Christian who supports the Christian ethos, mission and values of Glasshouse Christian College.
• Be an enthusiastic and engaging Primary Physical Education teacher.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of the Primary Health and Physical Education curriculum.
• Deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences for students of different ages and abilities.
• Encourage participation, teamwork, sportsmanship and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
• Maintain high standards of student safety and supervision.
• Contribute to Primary sporting events, carnivals and activities.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively as part of the Primary and wider College team.
• Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
• Be committed to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
• Hold Queensland teacher registration (or be eligible to obtain registration).
