Head of Primary

Glasshouse Christian College is seeking an experienced and relational leader to join our team as Head of Primary.

This is a full-time leadership opportunity for an educator who is passionate about high-quality teaching and learning, strong community partnerships, and leading within a Christ-centred environment.

About the Role
The Head of Primary is responsible for the leadership, management and day-to-day operation of the Primary School, working closely with the Principal and Senior Management Team to ensure a cohesive Prep–12 learning journey.

You will lead a thriving Primary School community, overseeing:

• Teaching and learning excellence
• Staff leadership and development
• Student wellbeing and behaviour
• Operational effectiveness and resourcing
• Strong parent and community engagement

This role plays a key part in shaping the culture, direction and outcomes of the College’s Primary years.

Key Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education
• Current teacher registration (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated experience in educational leadership (e.g. Deputy/Assistant Head, Curriculum Leader)
• Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and reporting practices
• Commitment to child safety and student wellbeing
