About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Primary, the Assistant Head of Primary – Upper Primary provides strategic and operational leadership across the Upper Primary years. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the Primary Leadership Team to foster a culture of excellence in teaching and learning, pastoral care, curriculum implementation and staff development.

About You
The successful applicant will:

• Be a committed Christian who actively supports the Christian ethos and mission of Glasshouse Christian College.
• Demonstrate outstanding leadership experience within a primary school setting.
• Be an accomplished educator with a strong understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices.
• Have the ability to mentor, coach and develop teachers to achieve excellence in student outcomes.
• Build positive and collaborative relationships with staff, students and families.
• Possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold Queensland teacher registration (or be eligible to obtain registration).
