OUR SCHOOL: Geneva Christian College is an independent Christian school on the North West Coast of Tasmania. We provide a rich learning environment, where we partner with parents, to direct their children on the right path toward intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual growth.
THE ROLE: pastoral care and leadership for a Secondary Home Room, commencing with class devotions each day and closing the day with announcements and prayer · plan, teach, assess and report on some AC subjects, provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for students, work in collaboration with other staff to maintain a distinctive Christian education, by motivating and aligning practice with the School’s Vision, Mission & Values, encourage students in a positive and supportive learning environment where student achievements are acknowledged.
YOU: a committed Christian teacher with a deep desire to serve Jesus, demonstrate a passion for Biblically-based Christian education & teaching, demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential, catering for students with a range of learning abilities, have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with staff, parents and students, demonstrate the ability in problem solving, flexibility, priority setting and time management, hold a current Tasmanian Teachers’ Registration and Working with Vulnerable People Check
