We’re looking for an Inclusion Coordinator to champion and implement initiatives that ensure a diverse, equitable, and supportive learning and community environment for all students.

About the Role

This position is responsible for coordinating support for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, empowering teachers to differentiate effectively, and fostering a collaborative approach to student support.

Commencing on 16 January 2026, this position is full-time. Relocation assistance is available.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice.

The successful candidate will also be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College, and seek a role providing opportunities to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the wider College community.

Essential qualifications and requirements

1. Relevant teaching qualifications. 
2. Current Teacher Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
3. Appropriate educational qualifications specific to the role.
4. Demonstrated ability and experience in teaching in the area of learning support. 
5. A sound understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act and the Disability Standards for Education.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage staff relationships in a manner that enhances productive working relationships and outcomes.
7. High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Strong organisational and administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
9. Ability to demonstrate a Christian worldview.
10. Be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.
11. Able to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith.
12. Able to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
13. Able to work with all members of the College community.
14. Be legally permitted to work in Australia.
