Tyabb Campus Part-Time (0.4 – 0.6 FTE) Fixed Term Semester 2 – possibility of ongoing employment Salary: $67,306 – $72,354 + Super (annual full-time equivalent) Pro-rata (0.4 – 0.6 FTE, incl. 10 weeks leave): $23,826 – $38,420 Commencing Term 3, 2026 Applications are invited for the position of Art, Design and Technology Assistant, from passionate and innovative candidates with a strong commitment to Christian education. This role is part-time fixed term, commencing in Term 3, 2026. The successful applicant will assist and support teachers in the Art, Design and Technology Department in their preparation. They will assist in the promotion of the Art, Design and Technology Department in the school through various activities. They will also assist and provide support to teachers in the subjects Art, Textiles and Food. What We’re Looking For · Experience and/or qualifications in trade area(s) relating to Art, Design and or Technology, in particular Design and Technology: Wood. Other areas include Textiles, Photography, Digital Photography, Visual Communication Design, Art and Studio Arts. · A strong interest and some knowledge in the areas relating to Art, Design and Technology. Experience with computers and adobe programs a preference. Experience within a secondary school environment would be advantageous. A working knowledge of wood preparation static machinery and general 3D construction Experience in mounting, framing and presenting artwork for display. Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
