The Head of Primary (K – Year 6) is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Primary School, reports to the Head of Campus and is part of both the Campus and College Executive Teams.
The Head of Primary (K – Year 6) provides inspiring leadership and stewardship of teaching and learning. The role collaborates closely with the Deputy Head of Primary (Teaching and Learning) and Year Level Section Heads to develop a future-focused, student-centred learning culture. The successful candidate will foster strong relationships with staff, students and families, uphold the values of the College, and lead with wisdom, humility and faith.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
- Model and embed a Christian worldview through leadership and teaching
- Lead and develop high-performing teams in a school setting
- Champion student learning and engagement through evidence-based practice
- Drive innovation, improvement and change within a collaborative environment
- Communicate effectively across stakeholders and build strong relationships
Offered as a permanent executive leadership position, with a negotiable teaching allotment and commencing January 2026, applicants must have a right to work in Australia and be eligible for VIT registration.
