Dubbo Christian School is seeking a Principal to lead our school staff and students, building on the authentic culture and strong academic emphasis. He/she is to be an effective educator who models an understanding and strong commitment to Christian Education. A passion for educating and nurturing students in a rural setting is fundamental to this role.
The role of Principal is to articulate the vision of Berakah Christian Education, leading the Dubbo Christian School learning community as a Christ-centred visionary servant. In the context of a parent-governed Christian school, the Principal has the primary function of ensuring that the delivery of education is in accordance with the constitution and policies of the school.
The Principal will:
• Have an evident personal commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all aspects of life and be actively involved in their local church.
• Be responsible for the development and management of teaching and learning from a Christian perspective.
• Oversee, and take responsibility for, the dayto-day operations and financial management of the School, the professional performance of the staff and the academic and personal development of the students.
• Provide oversight of Dubbo Christian Preschool operations
• Collaborate with the Board in ensuring the BCE Strategic Plan is achieved.
• Undertake the management and documentation of regular performance
appraisals, both of the Staff and the School as a whole.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Federal and State Government education and
regulatory policies, and advise the Board of the implications of these policies for Christian Education.
• Effectively promote the School in public and private forums.
• Be committed to promoting the wider mission of Christian Education National (CEN), the national organisation to which the School belongs.

The commencement of this role will be in January 2026.
