Dale Christian College WA, a K-12 school nestled in the southern suburbs of Western Australia, is actively seeking a dedicated Chaplain to join our school community.

 

About the Role

Part time position (0.8 FTE, 4 days per week)

Working Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm (7.5 hours per day)

Initial 6-month probationary period

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Developing supportive relationships between students, staff and parents

·         Running and supporting social and emotional wellbeing programs

·         Liaising with families and students

·         Involvement in Chapel services

·         Supporting whole school events including camps and carnivals

·         Maintaining duty of care for students

 

Requirements:

·         Strong commitment to Christian faith and values

·         Support for the school’s Creationist viewpoint

·         Ability to work within the Armadale Congregational Church’s Statement of Faith

·         Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children Check

·         Excellent interpersonal and pastoral care skills
