Library Technician

• Part time – 3 days per week
• Fixed term 6 months (Jan-Jul 2025) ·

CREST Education comprises of two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,200 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) World School.

CREST Education invites applications for a vacant Library Technician role, working in support of the Hillcrest Library team.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Knowledge and understanding of library and information skills

Experience with a relevant Library Management System (LMS) and other ICT software

Demonstrate an innovative and passionate approach to books and reading

An ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team

Highly developed organisational and problem-solving skills

Willingness to work as part of a team and assist teachers and students

Availability to work 3 days p/w (Monday, Thursday and Friday) during school terms

Tertiary qualification in Library and Information Science
