Crest Education comprises two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,000 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) World School and is a Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidate school, with modern facilities at Clyde North. It is a growing College, adding a new year level each year; our first Year 9 level will commence in 2022.

Hillcrest Christian College is inviting interested candidates to apply for the role of Learning Diversity Assistant – Team Leader, commencing in January 2022. The primary role of the Learning Diversity Assistant Team Leader is to work with the classroom teacher and other Learning Diversity Assistants, to integrate and support the learning of students in an educational setting.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum qualification of one or more of: Certificate III Education Support, Professional Certificate of Education Support (Monash University), bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or currently studying to be a teacher with full mastery of literacy and/or numeracy concepts to the required year level
  • Understand the nature of secondary students with special needs
  • Previous experience as a learning support leader / integration / teacher aide
  • Team leadership experience in a range of settings will be well regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
